Brazil’s Supreme Court found former lawmaker Eduardo Bolsonaro guilty of trying to unlawfully interfere with judicial proceedings related to the trial of his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro, who was convicted of plotting a coup after his 2022 election defeat.

The four justices on the court’s First Panel, Alexandre de Moraes, Cristiano Zanin, Cármen Lúcia and Flávio Dino, voted unanimously on Tuesday to convict Eduardo Bolsonaro of attempted coercion of members of the court.
