Hong Kong’s Biggest Crypto Exchange HashKey Is Said to Mull IPO

HashKey Group, the operator of Hong Kong’s biggest licensed crypto exchange, has confidentially filed for an initial public offering in the Asian financial hub, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

HashKey could aim to list as soon as this year, the people said, asking not to be identified because the information isn’t public. A listing could fetch as much as $500 million, one of the people said.

Deliberations are ongoing and details such as valuation and timing could change, the people said. A representative for HashKey said the company has no listing-related information to disclose.
