Mexico’s economy rebounded at year-end to avoid a technical recession after slumping in the third quarter due the drag from US tariffs and low investment.
Gross domestic product rose 0.8% in the October-December period from the prior three months, above the 0.6% median estimate of economists surveyed by Bloomberg, compared with the -0.3% contraction in the previous quarter.
