University of Michigan professor Catherine Shakespeare will succeed Christine Ann Botosan as a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board starting next year.
The board of trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation, FASB’s parent body, announced Tuesday that it had appointed Shakespeare. The accounting professor and associate dean for undergraduate programs at Michigan will join the standard-setter after Botosan’s current term ends next June 30.
