Wipfli Cuts PE Deal With Grant Thornton Investor New Mountain

Top 25 US accounting firm Wipfli LLP is poised to join the growing ranks of its peers who have cut private equity deals.

Wipfli said Friday it will sell a “significant minority” stake in its business to New Mountain Capital. The firms didn’t disclose the terms of the deal and declined to say when it will close.
