Tammy Mercer joined Akerman as a partner in its litigation practice group in Wilmington, Delaware, the firm announced Tuesday.
Mercer brings more than 19 years of experience advising boards of directors and private equity clients on complex corporate governance matters. She concentrates her practice in the Delaware Court of Chancery and Delaware Superior Court, handling disputes involving mergers and acquisitions, going-private transactions, proxy contests, valuation and appraisal issues, and directors and officers liability, the firm said.
She joins from Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, according to her LinkedIn profile.
