Jump and Securitize Join Forces to Trade Tokenized Stocks

Market-maker Jump Trading is working with tokenization firm Securitize Inc. in a push to move stock trading onto blockchain-based systems within existing regulatory framework.

Jump will act as the market-maker, trading the tokenized stocks, while Securitize will provide the infrastructure, according to executives. The goal is to broaden the market, using crypto-based technology, according to Carlos Domingo, chief executive officer and co-founder of Securitize.
