Missouri remains barred from enforcing several state laws banning abortions and regulating providers while Planned Parenthood challenges their legality, a state appeals court ruled Tuesday.
The state court order that temporarily blocked Missouri from enforcing the laws didn’t abuse its discretion in finding that Planned Parenthood was likely to prevail on the merits of its constitutional claims, the Missouri Court of Appeals said in an opinion affirming a lower court’s preliminary injunction ruling.
