RFK Jr.'s Vaccine Advisers Should Be Replaced, Lawsuit Says

A federal vaccine advisory panel handpicked by US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. should be dissolved and re-staffed with court supervision, a collection of medical groups said Wednesday.

Since its members were fired earlier this year and replaced, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice “is not fairly balanced, is not acting independently, and is being inappropriately influenced” by Health and Human Services Secretary Kennedy, the groups said in an updated lawsuit.

ACIP advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on vaccine matters.

The allegations come in an amended complaint filed against Kennedy in US District Court ...
