President Donald Trump signed legislation Wednesday allowing schools that participate in a federal lunch program to serve whole milk, part of a revamp of federal nutritional priorities announced in recent weeks.
“This is the first bill signing of the new year, and we ensure that millions of school-aged children have access to high-quality milk as we Make America Healthy Again,” Trump said Wednesday in the Oval Office at a signing ceremony where he was joined by officials including Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
