The US Department of Health and Human Services announced Wednesday the agency won’t recognize more than two sexes as it works to implement President Donald Trump’s executive order on gender identity.
The agency released guidance to the rest of the US government and the public to expand on “clear sex-based definitions” in Trump’s Jan. 20 order.
“This administration is bringing back common sense and restoring biological truth to the federal government,” HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said in a statement. “The prior administration’s policy of trying to engineer gender ideology into every aspect of public life is over.” ...
