Boeing, Ex-Worker Resolve Sex Discrimination, Harassment Suit

Boeing Co. and a former employee agreed to end a lawsuit alleging the aircraft manufacturer retaliated against her for reporting a coworker’s sexual harassment.

Aysin Koparan dropped her claims Thursday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, over a month after the parties told the court they reached a settlement. The former senior operation business lead, who is Turkish, sued Boeing in 2024, alleging sex discrimination, national origin discrimination, race discrimination, and retaliation under Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Section 1981, and state whistleblower law.
