Cemex Can’t Beat Black Disabled Driver’s Discrimination Suit

A Black disabled former truck driver for Cemex S.A.B DE C.V. can continue with part of his employment lawsuit against the company and several of its workers, according to a federal judge in California.

Joseph Sample’s harassment claims against Cemex human resources employees and a manager, as well as the claims against the cement manufacturer surrounding his firing, must fail, Judge William H. Orrick ruled Jan 16.
