A Syracuse, NY, law firm specializing in sex harassment cases gained the temporary right to post a billboard at a local airport despite the airport’s concern over the inclusion of the phrase “harmless flirting.”
The argument from Syracuse Regional Airport Authority and two top officials that the billboard’s language violates its advertising policy’s falsity clause is “plainly unreasonable,” said Judge Anthony J. Brindisi of the US District Court for the Northern District of New York.
On Thursday he granted Megan Thomas Law PLLC‘s preliminary injunction request while rejecting the defendants’ motion to dismiss the case.
