Chinese stocks in Hong Kong rallied after the US Supreme Court struck down President Donald Trump’s emergency tariffs, putting China among the countries set to face lower duties on shipments to the US.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, which tracks major mainland companies listed in the city, rose 2.7%. Megacap stocks led the advance, with Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. and Tencent Holdings Ltd. each climbing more than 3%, while delivery platform Meituan surged over 5%.
