Saatvik Green Energy Ltd., one of India’s top solar panel makers, said it expects the country’s trade deal with the US to revive exports of solar products to the world’s largest economy.
The deal, which brings down US tariffs on Indian goods from 50% to 18%, will make shipments more competitive and remove policy uncertainty for exporters, Saatvik’s Chief Executive Officer Prashant Mathur said in a phone interview.
