Challenged claims of Daingean Technologies Ltd.'s patent that relates to a terminal apparatus and a base station apparatus that can efficiently perform a random access procedure are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board said, in an inter partes review by AT&T Mobility LLC, AT&T Services Inc., Ericsson Inc., Nokia of America Corporation, and T-Mobile USA Inc.
