A federal district court in California granted Alphatec Spine Inc.'s motion to dismiss Globus Medical Inc. and NuVasive LLC’s action for willful and induced infringement of eight patents directed to methods and devices for performing spinal surgery. The court said that the complaint doesn’t plausibly allege induced infringement, and granted the motion to dismiss the willful infringement claims for all but two patents.
