CrowdStrike Inc. failed to convince a Texas federal magistrate judge to recommend dismissing a cybersecurity rival’s patent infringement lawsuit.
GoSecure Inc. sufficiently alleged CrowdStrike’s Falcon Platform directly infringed US Patent No. 10,104,099, which is directed to improved monitoring of computer systems for malicious attacks, Magistrate Judge Susan Hightower of the US District Court for the Western District of Texas said June 8.
It also adequately alleged that the infringement was willful because CrowdStrike was aware that the method was protected since at least the receipt of the December complaint.
