Panda, Sportradar Seeking Stay to Settle Streaming Patent Suit

Rival sports technology companies SportsCastr Inc. and Sportradar Group AG are seeking to pause their case while resolving their patent infringement dispute concerning live-streaming methods.

SportsCastr, doing business as Panda Interactive, and Sportradar requested a 30-day stay of proceedings, including the upcoming trial which was set to begin Feb. 27, according to a joint motion filed Feb. 13, in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

The stay will provide the companies time to finalize the settlement agreement and file dismissal papers, according to the motion.
