Health-care technology company CareMetx LLC accused health-care billing service CareMediX of infringing its trademarks and causing confusion between the two companies.
CareMediX, founded in 2024, uses the same fonts and colors as CareMetx to advertise services on its website, according to a complaint filed Dec. 26 in the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Although CareMediX brands itself as a billing service, it also offers technology-enabled patient services similar to those offered by CareMetx, the lawsuit said.
