Pegasus, Wireless Carriers Settle Patent Suit Over Base Stations

Pegasus Wireless Innovations LLC settled with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile over its patent infringement allegations concerning technology for 5G network base stations used by the wireless carriers.

Judge Rodney Gilstrap granted a 30-day stay for Pegasus, patent portfolio owner KT Corp., AT&T Corp., T-Mobile US Inc., and Cellco Partnership, doing business as Verizon, to finalize their settlements, according to an order filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Gilstrap had already granted stays on Aug. 29 concerning settlements between Pegasus and the wireless carriers’ suppliers Ericsson Inc. and Nokia of America ...
