A lawsuit saying the Trump administration unlawfully withheld education grants worth billions of dollars is now dismissed following the government’s decision to release the funds.
The case is closed, according to an entry on the US District Court for the District of Rhode Island docket. “We are pleased that our clients and communities across the country have received necessary public education funds and that the administration has backed off its plans to hold back billions in educational resources,” Democracy Forward Foundation President and CEO Skye Perryman said.
