Walgreens Urged by Senators to Clarify Abortion Pill Decision

Democratic Senators call on Walgreens to prioritize obtaining FDA specialty certification to dispense Mifepristone, in a letter to CEO Rosalind Brewer.

• In the letter, senators also seek public clarification “that any hypothetical dispensing decisions remain undecided and premature at best, while the company seeks pharmacy certification”
