The number of women working on corporate boards and in top government jobs increased in 10 years, according to a study by Morningstar.
The study examined the boards of the largest 2,000 companies in the world and among G-10 nations from 2012 to 2022 for inclusion of women. While the study found a large jump in inclusion for women, the top jobs remained elusive. Female heads of state or women in top corporate jobs like chair, CEO or CFO are “rare,” Morningstar found.
