Legora Valued at $1.8 Billion For AI Tool Doing Legal Grunt Work

Legora, an artificial intelligence startup tackling legal grunt work, has raised $150 million in funding, valuing the company at $1.8 billion.

The Series C financing was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, the company said in a statement on Thursday, confirming an earlier Bloomberg News report.

The Swedish startup was founded in 2023 and counts several high-profile law firms such as Linklaters LLP, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, and Goodwin Proctor LLP as its customers. It automates rote tasks such as contract review, due diligence and legal research.
