Apple Fires Back at ITC, Masimo Push Against Pausing Watch Ban

Apple Inc. urged a US appeals court to reject “self-aggrandizing statements” by Masimo Corp.’s CEO in opposing Apple’s bid to keep certain Apple Watch models on sale in the US while it challenges a trade agency’s import ban.

Joe Kiani’s 7,500-word declaration accompanied Masimo’s opposition last week to Apple’s emergency motion for a stay of enforcement of the US International Trade Commission’s late-October orders pending resolution of Apple’s appeal at the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
