An ATF special agent investigating the Palisades Fire testified Thursday that Jonathan Rinderknecht lied to him when he first interviewed him at his West Hollywood studio apartment on Jan. 24, 2025.
ATF Special Agent Matthew Beals approached Rinderknecht after obtaining a search warrant for his apartment, the agent told jurors at the US District Court for the Central District of California in the trial against the 30-year old former Uber driver accused of three counts of arson for starting the Palisades Fire.
