Aviation Provider Beats Appeal in Cancer-Based Telework Lawsuit

Wilson Air Center LLC did enough under federal disability bias law to try helping an accounting assistant fighting breast cancer return to in-person work during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Fourth Circuit ruled Wednesday.

The private aviation services provider not only didn’t violate the Americans with Disabilities Act, it “exceeded the call of duty” with its efforts to reasonably accommodate Deanne Haggins, a unanimous panel said.
