Former Russian energy executive Mark Anthony Gyetvay was sentenced to 70 months for hiding $93 million from the Internal Revenue Service.
The US District Court for the Middle District of Florida resentenced Gyetvay, the former finance chief of Russian natural gas producer Novatek. In addition to the imprisonment stemming from two charges related to failure to disclose interest in foreign accounts, he must also pay more than $4 million in restitution and a $350,000 fine, according to Thursday’s resentencing minutes.
