Cannabis Retailers Schemed to Keep Prices High, Ohio AG Says (1)

Some of the United States’ largest medical and adult-use marijuana growers and sellers schemed with each other to prevent smaller companies from gaining a foothold in Ohio dispensaries and keep prices high, the state’s attorney general said.

The large operators, which do business in multiple states, worked together to keep their products on the shelves of each others’ storefronts at the expense of independent operations, Attorney General Dave Yost (R) said in an antitrust lawsuit filed Thursday in Franklin County Common Pleas Court.
