Massachusetts’ auditor will get her day before the state’s Supreme Judicial Court to convince the justices that she should be able to sue to enforce her office’s new power to probe the legislature.
In a Wednesday ruling, Associate Justice Dalila Argaez Wendlandt referred to the full court arguments opposing the suit advanced by Attorney General Andrea Campbell (D), whose office Auditor Diana DiZoglio (D) claims has refused to represent her in pushing lawmakers to hand over documents.
