Officials in charge of immigration enforcement efforts during the Trump administration’s surge in North Carolina have relied on “dragnet tactics” ineffectively to the detriment of people in the state, a proposed class action said.
The complaint, filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, joins a chorus of accusations over the actions of the US Department of Homeland Security and the agencies it oversees in the White House’s pursuit of widespread deportation.
