A disciplinary complaint was dismissed against a former judge running to be on the Ohio Supreme Court who was accused of holding herself out to the public as currently serving on the bench.
The complaint against Colleen O’Donnell was tossed following a hearing, records released Thursday show. It accused her of violating state judicial conduct rules when she reposted an endorsement from a conservative group to her Facebook page in January. The post linked to a webpage that detailed the endorsement, which repeatedly referred to her as “judge,” implying she currently held the role.
