A marijuana wholesaler dropped its constitutional challenge against Oregon’s prohibition on the import and export of cannabis products.
Jefferson Packing House LLC filed a notice of voluntary dismissal Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of Oregon. State law and regulations issued by Oregon’s agriculture department bar the import or export of any cannabis product. Jefferson argued the interstate commerce restrictions stifle Oregon’s marijuana producers and buyers by preventing them from accessing the significant out-of-state demand for products from Oregon.
