Quill & Arrow Disqualified From Ford Lawsuit Over Expert Witness

A California law firm has been disqualified from its role in a lawsuit over an allegedly defective Ford Motor Co. vehicle, after a judge said it was slow to erect an “ethical wall” in the case.

Quill & Arrow LLP must stop representing plaintiff Grecia Rocha because it’s unclear whether the plaintiff’s expert witness passed “tainted,” confidential information to Rocha’s lawyer, and then to other firm lawyers and staff, said Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel of the US District Court for the Southern District of California on Tuesday.
