State Department Sued Over International Agreement Disclosures

A nonprofit media organization sued the State Department and Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Friday for failing to publish international agreements online as required by federal transparency law.

The Lawfare Institute claims the defendants violated the amended Case-Zablocki Act, which requires the US Department of State to post agreement texts and legal authority information on its website within 120 days of when agreements take effect, it said in its complaint.
