The Colorado Department of Corrections defeated for a second time a lawsuit by a White correctional officer alleging DEI training created a racially hostile work environment, as the Tenth Circuit ruled in the department’s favor.
Joshua Young’s new suit failed to patch the holes an earlier panel of judges found when Young’s dispute with his former employer was before the court previously, Judge Robert E. Bacharach wrote in Monday’s unanimous decision. The evidence still doesn’t show that the correctional department’s diversity training program contributed to an anti-White work environment, the judge wrote.
