Veteran investment banker and financier Edward King is joining Deutsche Bank AG as a vice chairman, as the German lender continues a hiring spree to bulk up in mergers and acquisitions advisory.
King will be based in San Francisco, reporting to Samuel Kim, global head of M&A, according to an internal company memo reviewed by Bloomberg. King has advised on “a wide variety of strategic and financing transactions across all major industries and geographies,” according to the memo.
His clients have included Apollo Global Management Inc., Bain Capital, Anheuser-Busch InBev, American International Group Inc. and Stryker Corp., the memo shows. ...
