The National Basketball Association has received signs of interest from multiple investor groups for new teams in Las Vegas and Seattle that the league plans to sell for as much as $10 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
Early indications show Las Vegas is drawing more interest than Seattle, the people said, asking not to be identified because the talks aren’t public. While the no formal bids have been submitted, there’s been substantial outreach from investors, one of the people said.
