Trump Says Still Looking at Spirit, Final Proposal Delivered (1)

President Donald Trump said the federal government was still looking at a rescue plan for Spirit Airlines and had delivered a “final proposal.”

“We’re looking at it, but if we can’t make a good deal — no institutions been able to do it. I said I’d like to save the jobs,” Trump told reporters Friday at the White House, saying that an announcement could come later Friday or Saturday. “We gave them a final proposal.”
