Victory Capital Says Janus Refused to Engage With Takeover Offer

Victory Capital Holdings intensified its push to buy Janus Henderson Group Plc, accusing the London-based asset manager of failing to meaningfully engage with its bid and accepting an inferior deal from Nelson Peltz’s Trian Fund Management.

Janus’s only interaction with San Antonio-based Victory over the past four months was a single 32-minute call with management, held at the end of its review and without advisers present, the fund manager said in a statement Wednesday.
