Citigroup Inc. won dismissal of claims in a lawsuit by a TP ICAP Group Plc broker who said the bank failed to protect her from harassment by one of its traders. Some claims against the interdealer also were thrown out.
Christine O’Reilly, a New York-based employee at ICAP, alleged in the suit filed in August 2024 that she was forced to put her company’s profits ahead of her own well-being and endure relentless harassment and unwanted advances from Benjamin Waters, a trader at Citigroup, a prized client.
