Democratic Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani appointed a seasoned bureaucrat to manage New York City’s day-to-day operations and roughly $120 billion budget.
Dean Fuleihan, who has served in government for more than 40 years, was tapped by Mamdani to serve as first deputy mayor, according to a press release from the mayor-elect’s office on Monday.
