Northeastern University’s takeover of New York City’s Marymount Manhattan College will be completed this summer.
First agreed to nearly two years ago, the tie-up is slated to receive final clearance from the US Department of Education in the coming months, agency spokesperson Ellen Keast said. Northeastern expects the approval will likely come on or before June 30, according to a spokesperson for the university.
