The NYPD is investigating two confrontations involving Jewish New Yorkers in Brooklyn, including a stabbing near the global headquarters of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in Crown Heights.
Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said the first incident, which ocurred before the stabbing, was reported Monday night on a southbound 3 subway train and began with a jostle on the platform at Eastern Parkway and Nostrand Avenue.
