Oncoclinicas Investors Seek Goldman Subpoena Over IPO (Correct)

Minority shareholders in Oncoclínicas do Brasil Servicos Medicos SA want to question Goldman Sachs Group Inc. about whether the bank’s ownership stake in the Brazilian cancer treatment chain was misstated in the prospectus for its 2021 initial public offering.

The Brazilian Association of Investment, Credit and Consumption (Abraicc), a group representing minority shareholders in Oncoclínicas, on Monday asked a Manhattan federal judge for permission to subpoena Goldman. The filing is part of a dispute over whether US investment fund Centaurus Capital should have been required to make a tender offer when it acquired 16% of the company.
