New York’s five boroughs have been electrified by the New York Knicks playoff run. Yet in their first home NBA Finals game at Madison Square Garden since 1999, the Knicks came up just short in a 115-111 loss to the visiting San Antonio Spurs.

In a city known for high-dollar tickets, this was one of the hottest in years, with the Knicks coming into the game just two wins away from their first championship since 1973.
