US to Invest Nearly $5b in Amtrak’s Northeast Rail Corridor

US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announces a $4.7 billion investment into rail projects on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, according to a statement.

• Projects include New York Penn Station and Washington Union Station, statement says
• Investments will go toward upgrading train station infrastructure, streamlining rail services for Americans and rebuilding rail bridge infrastructure
