Arizona released its 2026 unemployment insurance tax information in a chart published by the Department of Economic Security.
Tax rates for positive-rated employers range from 0.03% to 4.18%, and rates for negative-rated employers range from 4.41% to 8.36%, according to the chart. By comparison, 2025 rates range from 0.04% to 4.86% for positive-rated employers and from 5.13% to 9.72% for negative-rated employers.
The tax rate for new employers remains 2% for 2026, according to the chart.
Arizona’s unemployment-taxable wage base is $8,000, according to the chart.
